Our Journey, Our Vision.

Formed in July 2020, Pathfinders Corporation is made up of a long established collaborative group, comprising of Sutton Coldfield Group Practice (SCGP), E5, GPS Healthcare (GPS), SmartCare Federation and Midlands Medical Partnership (MMP).

Pathfinders Corporation is driven by its desire to create a sustainable and efficient service for the benefit of patients, clinicans and support staff within their own organisations as well as throughout the wider NHS. Pathfinders has been set up to help support a wider healthcare structure with collaborative, integrated and visionary work.

It has always been our vision, ethos and goal to foster a patient-centred approach throughout all members of the Pathfinders Corporation.

Pathfinders is a great way to drive positive social change within our healthcare community.

Meet The Team

Dr Sunando Ghosh

CEO

Dr Sunando Ghosh is an Executive Partner and Strategic Management Board Partner at Midlands Medical Partnership.

As the Chair of the GP ICS Partnership Board Dr Ghosh is passionate about ensuring a single voice and a common purpose for BSOL GP’s in working towards innovations in general practice and reshaping the patient journey to make it seamless and efficient.

Dr Ghosh is passionate about innovation and making patients journey easier and the use of digital transformation to aid in this process.

Dr Pete Thebridge

Chair

Dr Thebridge is an experienced GP Leader; having worked in East Birmingham as a Partner since 1985. Clinical interests are in Mental Health, Dementia, Musculoskeletal Medicine and Minor Surgery. Practice interests are in leadership and organisation, working in partnership with Management colleagues and increasingly, in utilising the capability of IT systems to support efficiency, health targets and improving the health journey for patients and Healthcare Staff.

Dr Thebridge has a long experience of Commissioning; from leadership of a large Multifund, chair of PCG, Professional Executive Committee Chair of no less than 3 different organisations ( Perhaps a record! – he stayed in the same place but the organisations grew), to Clinical Vice Chair of the largest of the three predecessor Clinical Commission Groups. His experience of working at Local and National NHS Board Level over decades is a useful skill-set for the new world of Integrated Care Systems.

He still remains enthusiastic to make the NHS work more effectively as a team; for patients and the staff who support care, as well as tackling health inequalities; focussing on health promotion and prevention for both Physical and Mental Health.

Dr Rahul Dubb

Operations Director

Dr Dubb is an experienced GP who is Chair of Sutton Coldfield
Group Practice and Clinical Director of the Primary Care Network. He has most
recently led on the delivery of the Covid vaccination programme across Sutton
Coldfield, to be the leading Local Vaccination Site in Birmingham and Solihull
through collaboration with the Town Council, voluntary sector, UHB and the CCG.
He has senior leadership roles at locality level and within the ICS.

He is passionate to expand the concept of collaboration with key
stakeholders to ensure meaningful and sustainable patient centred care.

Dr Dave Sangha

Finance Director

A senior GP with over 25 years experience, special interests in diabetes, musculoskeletal and an advanced GP trainer for Health Education England. He has been a driving influence nationally in the changing GP landscape, as Executive Chairman pioneering the first Birmingham  “Super-practice” Midlands Medical Partnership.

He has expert knowledge of GP finances, legal structures and NHS contracts. He has led Urgent Care services both in community and hospital settings. He has had and continues to hold many senior roles representing GP in the CCG / STP / ICS structures. He is passionate about improving patient care with closer, coordinated working between all parties in the health and social care setting.

Dr Shahid Gill

Director

Dr Gill is an experienced and effective strategic planner who has helped form Birmingham SmartCare Federation.

Having made the transition from General Practitioner to senior management roles Dr Gill has consolidated clinical, managerial and leadership talents to lead the generation and implementation of novel medical capabilities and strategy that are required to support them both now and in the future.

Sobia Hussain

Chief Operating Officer

Having worked in primary care for over 20 years Sobia brings a wealth of experience with her. She is committed to the profession and is passionate about delivering patient care to a high standard.  Her innovative ways have helped services to overcome challenges with excellent outcomes for both patients and service providers.

Stephen O'Halloran

Business Manager

Steve is an experienced Business Manager with over 10 years  NHS experience. Steve has previous experience in the commercial sector with 15-year experience of International Trade Finance from the private banking sector as a senior manager.

Steve had a special interest in IT systems and processes and the use of new technologies. In addition to his role as a business manager in General Practice, he is the Lead manager for Birmingham East Central PCN.

Steve is part of the Birmingham and Solihull Peer support team, the team assists practices with any aspects of support they may need such as CQC preparation.

Steve also sits on the BSOL digital program board.

Zoya Khan

Project Lead

Zoya is highly experienced in Primary Care with a background in Finance.

She is adept in assessing and understanding the unique needs of each project and delivering to a high standard.

Zoya is committed to putting patient’s needs first and leads innovation to improve service delivery.
